1.1 ARRIS Racing Quads are not toys. R/C drones utilize various high-tech products and technologies to provide superior performance. Improper use of this product can result in serious injury or even death. Please read this manual before using and make sure to be conscious of your own personal safety and the safety of others and your environment when operating all ARRIS products. Manufacturer and seller assume no liability for the operation or the use of this product. This product is intended for use only by adults with experience flying remote control helicopters at a legal flying field. After the sale of this product we cannot maintain any control over its operation or usage.

As the user of this product, you are solely responsible for operation it in a manner that does not endanger yourself and others or result in damage to the product or the property of others.

1.2 We recommend that you obtain the assistance of an experienced pilot before attempting to fly our products for the first time. A local expert is the best way to properly assemble, setup, and fly your model for the first. MicrobeastPlusFlybarless System requires a certain degree of skill to operate, and is a consumer item. Any damage or dissatisfaction as a result of accidents or modifications are not covered by any warrantee and cannot be returned for repair or replacement. 2. Safety notes

Fly only in safe areas, away from other people. Do not operate RC aircraft are prone to accidents, failures, and crashes due to a variety of reasons including: lack of maintenance, pilot error, and radio interference. Piolts are responsible for their actions and damage or injury occurring during the operation or as of a result of RC aircraft models.

Prior to every flight, carefully check all parts such as blades, screws, frame, arms, ets; ensure they are firmly secured and show no unusual wears, or unforeseen danger may happen.

2.1 Forbidden 

2.1.1 Locate an appropriate location

R/C aircraft can fly at high speed, thus posing a certain degree of potential danger. Choose a legal flying field consisting of flat, smooth ground without obstacles. Do not fly near buildings, high voltage cables, or trees to ensure the safety of yourself , others, and your model. Avoid location with magnetic and radio interferences. Please choose a legal flying field. Do not fly your model in inclement weather, such as rain, wind, sown or darkness.

2.1.2 Proper operation 

Do not attempt to modify the aircraft to alter its intended design. Please use only designated replacement parts listed in the manual to ensure its design structure integrit. Operate this product within its intended design parameters; do not overload its with excess cargo. This product is limited to personal hobby use, and pilot shuold be proficient with operation of this model. Follow all local law and ordinances when operating. Do not use this product for purposes which any violate others’personal privacy, and respect others’ intellectual properties. Do not ues this product for illegal purposes or beyond the bonds of common safety.

2.1.3 Note on lithium polymer batteries Lipo

Lithium Polymer batteries are significantly more volayile than alkaline or Ni-Cd/Ni-MH batteriescommonly used in RC applications. All manufacturer’s instructions and warnings must be followed closely. Mishandling of Li-Po batteries can result in fire. Always follow the manufacturer’s instruction when disposing of Lithium Polymer batteries.

2.1.4 Prevent moisture 

R/C aircraft are composed of many precision electrical components. It is critical to keep the model and associated equipment away from moisture and other contaminants. The introduction or exposure to water or moisture in any form can cause the model to malfunction resulting in loss use, or crash. Do not operate or expose to rain or moisture.

2.2 Warning 

2.2.1  Do not fly alone 

Before turning on your model and transmitter, check to make sure no one else is operating on the same frequency. Frequency interference can cause your model, or other models to crash. The guidance provided by an experienced piolt will be invaluable for the assembly, tuning, trimming, and actual first flight or unforeseen danger may happen. (Recommend you to practice with experienced piolts or with computer-based flight simulator firstly.)

2.2.2 Safe operation 

Operate this unit within your ability. Do not fly while feeling impaired, as improper operation may result in danger. Never take your eyes off the model or leave it unattended while it is turned on. Immediately turn off the model and transmitter when you have landed the model.

2.3 Caution

2.3.1 Always be aware of the rotating blades

During the operation of the multicopter, the rotor will be spinning at a high rate of speed. The blades are capable of inflicting serious bodily injury and damage to surrounding properties. Be conscious of your actions, and careful to keep your face, eyes,hands and loose clothing away from the blades. Always fly the model a safe distance from yourself and others, as well as surrounding objects.

2.3.2 Keep away from heat 

R/C aircraft are made of various forms of plastics, such as carbon fiber and polyethylene. Plastics are very susceptible to damage or deformation from extreme heat and cold climate. Make sure not to store the model near any source of heat such as oven or heater. It is best to store the model indoors, in a climate-controlled, room temperature environment.

    3.1.1 Please follow the instruction manual carefully when installing receiver. Traditional receiver channel ports are reserved specifically for the muli-colored ribbon cable.

    3.1.2 Manual mode is suitable only for experienced pilots. Begainners should avoid flying in manual mode.

    3.1.3 When checking for motor and propeller rotation, make sure not to hold the aircraft in hand for testing. Make sure there is no obstacles nearby the propellers.

    3.1.4 Make sure to always be aware to keep your eyes and body away from proprller rotation, also keep the rotating propeller away from crowds to prevent unexpected accidents.

    3.2 Warning


    3.2.1 Before turn on the power, make sure the antenna is mounted on the video transmitter correctly, because it helps to release the accumulated current, otherwise too large power may burn out the 5.8Hz video transmitter.

    3.2.2 Double check the motor rotation direction, prop nut directional lable, and blades directional lable during assembly, ensure the install matches exactly with the instructions manual. Incorrect assembly or modifications may cause unexpected result or bodily injuries.

    3.2.4 Incorrect sequence of motor tube assembly or changes made to rotational irections of motor / blades may cause immediate flip-over on takeoff, and result in unforeseen dangerous situations.

    3.2.5 Manual mode is suitable only for experienced pilots without any horizontal leveling capabilities. Beginners shuold avoid flying in manual mode or it will ause unforeseen, danger and crashes.

    3.2.6 Prior to every flight, carefully check all parts such as propellers, propeller nuts, arms, main framed and other components, ensure they are firmly secured and show no unusual wears, or unforeseen danger may happen.

    3.3 Caution

    3.3.1 The way of binding varies from different receiver brands. Please refer to the instructions from receiver supplier for binding and wiriting.

    3.3.2 Make sure to memorie or photo record the original writing position for re-installation.






Frequently Asked Questions

Q. The drone would not take off.

A.1.Check whether the propeller is installed reversely; if not, check whether the transmitter has been unlocked. This is easy while extremely important. Most customers have been stopped at this step.

2.Check whether receiver has been bound with the transmitter.

3.Check whether all the ESC are synchronous; if not, connect flight controller to the computer and calibrate ESC one by one to make

sure all the ESC are synchronous.

Q.How to unlock the transmitter.

A.Toggle flight mode switch (G) to one gear up, at this time, the drone is in self-leveling position. The flight controller will beep to indicate arming was successful. Please note “Lock” will disarm the aircraft, any other mode will arm it.


Q.The aircraft beeps and there is no response for RC drone when pull the throttle.

A.1. Before power on the drone, transmitter must be in lock status. 2. Make sure the receiver has been successfully bound with the transmitter.

3. Check whether the data in flight controller has been lost when finish the above 2 steps. If lost, please rewrite them in according to the default parameter on the CD included inside the package.

Q.One motor has different speed with others. (the problem usually occurs when the throttle is put to 70%-80%).

A.Firstly check whether the propeller is screwed tightenly, then calibrate ESC one by one, if this still does not solve the problem, put the drone in horizontal and calibrate the sensor (refers to manual for detailed procedure).

Q.There is one or two motor/ESC does not work during flight.

A.1.Check whether the connection between motor and ESC are correct, sometimes long distance transportation or multiple test flight might cause the wires become stripped off, so as to be short circuit.

2. Pick off all the propellers, hold the drone in your hand, then put

the throttle at 100%. If there is serious vibration, you need to reset the flight controller (please refer to manual, which tells how to set the parameter on FC)
3. Connect ESC to the throttle channel of receiver to check whether the motor works; if motor works correctly, then there might be some problem with the flight controller; if the motor can`t work correctly, both ESC or motor might be have been damaged. If you have any other flight controller or ESC, you can try to swap them on this drone, then the problem can be figured out.

Q.The 700TVL camera does not work properly.

A.Check whether the camera is powered by 12V voltage.

Other voltage power supply might burn the camera.

Q.Sometimes there is noise on the brushless motors.

A.There might be some dust entering the motor after several times flight, so you need to clean the motor each time when going out for fly. In addition, for such electronic products, the daily maintenance are necessary, for example, the bearings need to be lubricated oil now and then.

Q.The Video TX will be burned after installing or the signal of the Video TX will disappear during fast fling.
A.Usually, the drone needs to be took off within 2 minutes after powered on. If the drone does not take off for a long time, the video TX is incapable of heat dissipation, which might caused burnt of the video TX.

B. Not install the antenna might cause damage of the video TX.

Q.The receiver on RC Drone flashes red light.

A.Make sure to set the same frequency between the transmitter and drone.

Q.The RC drone is unstable and will become sloping during flight.

A.Check whether the throttle is in central position, if not, put it in

central. If this is not the issue, try to reset the flight controller according to the manual, make sure the drone is in horizontal when doing this process.
